Medication requests

Asking for Your Medicine Again

If you need more of your regular medicine, you can ask for it in these ways:

  • Use your NHS account online
  • Phone 016973 22491 and leave a message with:
  • Your name
  • Your date of birth
  • The name of the medicine you need
You can call any time, day or night.
  • Email [email protected]
  • Tick the medicine you need on your paper slip and put it in the prescription box in the waiting room.

When you ask for your medicine, please say where you want to collect it from.

You need to wait 3 days (72 hours) before you collect it. This gives the Pharmacy time to get it ready.
You will get an email from the Pharmacy (not the doctor’s surgery) when it is ready.

Medicine Check-Ups

If you have a health problem that needs regular medicine, the doctor or nurse will usually check on you once a year, around your birthday.

If you miss your check-up, we will ask you to make an appointment or we may contact you.

If your medicine is causing problems, or if you stop taking it, please tell us.
